Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa was presented with the Mercedes Benz S500 Brabus by Mrs Kufa on behalf of UFIC women who contributed cash to send her into delirium just days before Mothers Day.
A brand new Mercedes Benz on average, costs between $150 000 and $220 000 — depending with the taste.Ruth Makandiwa was presented with the gift before coming to the City Sports Centre — the home of UFIC — where she was scheduled for a meeting.
The swanky car jolted her and she shed tears when giving an emotional speech to thank the ladies who combined with the girls from the youth wing to honour her.
“Words cannot express how I feel. If there is any other word that I can use other than thank you, I would use it. What I feel is so much more than that,” she said.
Ruth Makandiwa also encouraged women to honour their parents as well as their in-laws. UFIC women have been encouraged to surprise their mothers as well as their mother in-laws by doing something good for them on this year’s Mothers Day.
In reciprocation, Ruth Makandiwa paid tribute to all UFIC pastors’ wives by giving them gifts as well as 160 women who were over 60 years old, with the majority being widows. She presented them with a blanket each and a bag of maize.
The prophetess did not end there. She also gave gifts to her own mother, Gogo Makawa and her mother in-law, Gogo Makandiwa as well as Gogo Musoni, her husband’s grandmother.
Prophetess Makandiwa together with her husband lead one of the fastest growing churches in Zimbabwe.
