Cowell 'not happy' about Barlow's X Factor return
Simon Cowell is reportedly unhappy with Gary Barlow's return to 'The X Factor'.
The media mogul is said to have been unimpressed with the Take That singer's performance on the show last year and wanted to replace the "dull" judge with someone new.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "The 'X Factor' is proving to be a pain thanks to arguments over the panel.
"Simon was never Gary's biggest fan and really wanted to boot him out and get someone else in. He thought he was a bit dull."
Meanwhile Simon is said to be furious that BBC One's 'The Voice' has gone up against his ITV1 talent search show 'Britain's Got Talent' and is coming out on top in the ratings war.
The source added: "Simon has been quietly fuming for weeks and now we have reached tipping point.
"He feels TV chiefs have been arrogant in assuming 'The Voice' wasn't a threat. He knew it was madness to let 'The Voice' start before 'BGT' and then expect people to turn over.
"He is absolutely obsessed with his TV shows and it means everything to him that they do well."
