Beenie Man's visa woes

Dancehall artiste Beenie Man was unable to perform with International superstar Nicki Minaj yesterday due to Visa restrictions.

Beenie Man had initially planned to perform his collab "Gunshot" on BET'S 106 and Park with Minaj yesterday, but was told on Sunday that this performance would be a breach of his visitor's visa.

Beenie Man has still not be re-issued a work permit and was advised hat his appearance on BET would be considered as a paid performance because the station has to pay over royalties for live performances, so it would be a clear violation of the terms of his visitor's visa.  Beenie Man and his management team said they would not take the risk and would instead comply with the US Embassy.

Beenie Man has appeared on BET'S 106 and Park twice before. Beenie is currently working on his new album
