ZIMBABWE - NEW JOINT FOR OLD SKOOL MUSIC LOVERS - OPENS THIS EASTER @ Family 24

ZIMBABWE - NEW JOINT FOR OLD SKOOL MUSIC LOVERS -  OPENS THIS EASTER @ Family 24
Old skool music pundits who are always on the hunt for new hangouts will be pleased to know that Huggies Entertainment has a new base! Guess what? Some 26km outside the city centre along the Harare-Bulawayo highway there is an outdoor place whose cool ambience resembles a uniquely Zimbabwean resort.
This Easter holiday, Huggies Entertainment comprising disc jockeys — Kudzie “Mr Kool” Marudza, Witness “The Chuman” Matema and Ronald “D-Train” Chiwanza — will be rocking the turntables at Family 24, an exotic outdoor restaurant and pub.
The trio is expected to rock the joint with two gigs the first one is on Saturday and then the second gig is slated for Sunday.
The DJs will be taking fans on a roller-coaster music ride while jamming some of the 1970s, 1980s and the 1990s hits just the way old skool heads love it.
The legendary Mr Kool, has years of experience as a radio presenter and club DJ.
He is also known for his ability to turn open-air hangouts like Pamuzinda into live radio sessions.
Whenever Mr Kool is on the turn- tables fans are assured of a great time.
Another force to reckon with is Chuman, who cut his teeth in deejaying under the tutelage of his late father Chris Matema, one of most the revered music producers ever to emerge in Zimbabwe.
Chuman has become a versatile DJ who has a bag full of yesteryear hits from R&B, hip-hop, soul to jazz.
But what is enjoyable about his sessions is that he always keeps revellers on the dance floor with a mixed bag of music.
On the one hand, Chuman is well complemented by the expertise of D-Train, who has been in the business for years, starting off as a club DJ before moving to radio
